Our home is full! Please make reservations at one of the locations listed in the "Other Local Accommodations" tab above.

This is a fantastic double header with both Dr. Kathy Bullock and her sister "Dr. Dee" Diane White-Clayton. We are thrilled to have the honor of hosting this dynamic duo in Ashfield. The weekend is sure to be full of music, guaranteed to fill body, mind and spirit with love and joy.

Dr. Kathy Bullock, needs almost no introduction to the many who have been in her musical presence here in Ashfield over the last 6 years. She is currently head of the Music Department at
Berea College, Berea, KY. She earned her BA from Brandeis University and her MA in Music Theory from Washington University. Among the classes Kathy teaches at Berea, are Music Theory, African-American Music, Ethnomusicology, Class Piano and Music History. Kathy also directs the Black Music Ensemble, a 70 voice choir specializing in performances of African-American sacred music. She is charismatic, fun-filled, loving, energetic and I have to admit one of my favorite people on earth.

Dr. Diane White-Clayton, composer, soprano, pianist, choral conductor, workshop clinician, author and speaker-is a native of Washington, DC where she began performing at the age of four. She holds a Ph.D. and MA in Music Composition from the University of California, Santa Barbara in Music Composition and received her Bachelor of Arts in Music with honors from the Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. As an Ambassador of Goodwill, she studied on a Rotary Scholarship to Paris, France studying piano at the Ecole Normale de Musique. A highly acclaimed performer of classical, gospel and jazz, she has held positions with such institutions as Grinnell College, Appalachian State University, Westmont College, the University of California at Santa Barbara, the Washington Performing Arts Society and the St. Louis Black Repertory Theatre Company. She performs extensively and conducts workshops throughout the United States and abroad and conducts Vocal Workshops with the Disney Performing Arts Conservatory. Affectionately known as "Dr. Dee," she has self-produced recordings and numerous published compositions. She is on staff as Choral Conductor at the 6,000-member Faithful Central Bible Church, and a member of the faculty at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, where she resides with her husband, accomplished R&B percussionist, Joe Clayton
