Washed Up Beulah Band Weekend Workshop
Saturday, January 5th, 9am through Sunday, January 6th 3pmWorkshop includes overnight accommodations Saturday night, Lunch and Dinner on Saturday, Breakfast and Lunch on Sunday. (concert is separate-see below)
Arthur, Wheaton, Kenny & Luke formed a gospel quartet while in England on tour with Northern Harmony and will be here all weekend, to teach and perform! They came last year for their premiere performance and just blew us away. With a huge repertoire, straight up one person to a part. Team teaching and demonstrating, they will teach & perform American Gospel/Jubilee quartet music, made popular between the late 20's & 40's. With arrangements that are new and give them their own sound the songs are based on recordings of The Soul Stirrers, The Golden Gate Quartet, The Stars of Harmony, The Dixie Hummingbirds, The Kansas City Gospel Singers.
