Share Description Specifications Kusel 50 gallon and 100 gallon Artisan Cheese Vats The Kusel 50 gallon (430 pounds or 190 liters) and 100 gallon (860 pounds or 378 liters) vats are the sturdiest and best built vats on the market today.   Each vat is built with a 14 Ga. 2B stainless steel exterior and interior with a strong box tube internal frame for long life.  The 50 gallon vat has (1) 240V – 6KW/26A/1 Phase electric immersion heater and the 100 gallon vat has (2).  Each vat has a recirculating pump (1/2 HP - 115-230V/60Hz/1Ph) for hot water heating of the jacket.  (Customer to supply controls and wiring per local codes).  The vat can also be used with steam jet heating or be connected to remote type water heating if available.  The unit includes a hand stirring paddle, whey strainer, vat valve and hand curd knife and is available with adjustable feet.  The vat is ready to go – just add milk.
