I just made my first batch of goat cheese, and Wow is it good. It has the same taste and texture as a local artisan cheese producers chevre, and it was so easy!! I\'m looking forward to my next batch, maybe I\'ll add some herbs, yum. I also took the leftover whey, and I\'m in the process of making gjetost, which my kids love. Thanks for your great website, and informative book.
I just want to say how terrific the recipes for the soft Goat Cheese kit turned out. Both the chevre and the french style soft goat cheese turned out wonderful, and mmm,mmm were delicious! Everyone was impressed, and they all like it. My neice wants a pound of chevre for Christmas. I told her maybe next year. Now I have all this cheese, well four rounds of soft goat cheese, It\'s good until next Monday, yumm and thank you.
It worked! Thank you so much, I tried a different brand of goat milk and started again with little hope of sucess and now I have 4 wonderful little cheeses and feel vindicated! I was being criticized for wasting time and money on something that was obviously not amounting to anything. Until today when I presented my husband with some wonderful goat cheese and freshly made bread, then he was in awe. The sence of achievement is so exciting and I owe it all to you. Thank you so much! Tonight I will eat goat cheese alone and make him eat humble pie!. Thanks again, Karen
