Large Hard Cheese Mold

Thank you guys for your awesome website and recipes. My new Large Hard Cheese Mold is the perfect size for my 5 lb Bleu recipes. After enough time, experience and a few failures, my Stilton style bleu is as good as from England.

    "Thank you!"

    Hard cheese mold

Great mold for the price it works great with a drain cloth. I noticed a little warpage on the upper press ring after using for a hard press. If the mfg offered a plastic slip in washable mesh, it would be nice. It makes a beautiful cheese.

Great size and price for large mold

This is an economical price for a sturdy, very large mold. Easily holds curds from up 5-10 gallons of milk.

    Nice Mould

The mould is a great size for larger batches. Plastic seems to be very sturdy and I'm looking forward to many years of use.

    sturdy and dependable moulds

we have been using these cheese moulds in our creamery for 5 years and they perform well. The followers are a bit tight when cheese cloth is used- I had my husband use his router to take about a 1/4" off the sides. They worked great

    Does a great job!

Took the plunge and made my first 4-gallon batch of cheese after receiving this a couple weeks back - works great and produced a lovely wheel of Romano at a perfect size. Easy to ad weight and easy to clean. Could likely accommodate 6+ gallons

    Great product

I have literally made thousands of pounds of cheese with this mold. It works great. I have two of them because I make cheese with ten gallons of milk at a time.

    Works Great

I have had this mold for over six months and used dozens of times. I don't have a cheese press so I stack iron weight plates on top of the follower and the are just the right size to fit inside so I can stack heaver plates on top. I usually use this mold for cheddar so pressing weight is upwards of 200 lb. and it has held up very well. I use raw Jersey milk for my cheese and depending on the season 4 1/2-5 1/2 gallons of milk fill this mold. Overall I am very happy with this product and would recommend it to anyone who has a lot of milk to deal with or just wants to get into bigger cheeses.

Thank you New England Cheesemaking supply!

I bought 8 of these last year for a friend who is setting up a small cheesemaking business in India. The order came quickly; the staff of cheesemaking.com gave us excellent free advice (long before the purchase), and the molds have held up well.

I bought one and getting ready to buy several more. If you have a lot of milk, this is the mold to use! I use 6-10 gallons of milk at a time, and this works perfect! easy to use and easy to sanitize!!
