I have recently started out making cheeses. This rennet has performed well using the recommended quantities.

I've used both tablet and liquid for the 30 minute mozzarella and really prefer the liquid. Both are great products though, just prefer liquid. Tablets are easy to share with friends/neighbors.

These are very easy to use and economical. Just wish they came in smaller size so I don't need to break into 1/4 size.

Thanks for the advice!

I emailed with somebody about whether the manufacturer could score these tablets deeper, making them easier to break. They said they would feed that back and recommended using a pill-cutter. Works like a charm. You can find those at your pharmacy with the seven-day pill boxes.

I have been using it for years in white, and hard cheese. Lasts in the freezer for years. Never failed.

Well, It's rennet. How much can be said? It always works fine. No problems. I like using the tablets rather than the liquid, but it doesn't really matter. If you're some sort of rennet addict, this is a good source.

Works great. But takes finesse to cut into 4ths....

It always works great, but sometimes it is hard to cut into quarters. A sharp knife, a steady hand, and a hard surface (holding your hand around it so it doesn't fly off) usually does the trick.
