I love this culture. I make cheese at least two times per week. I usually make cheddar and I get about 3 pounds of cheese out of 2 gallons of milk. I use this culture and 1.75 gallons of milk and .25 gallon of heavy whipping cream. I am having to upgrade my press because the press I got with the kit does not completely contain the cheese. Do not forget to make your ricotta cheese from your left over whey.

I use both the large and 5 packet cultures. I keep all my cultures in the freezer. Have not had a failure due to these cultures. The smaller 5pk packages are perfect for most of the cheeses I make. If you are someone that doesn't make a lot of cheese, these are great!

I am a beginner cheese maker. I ordered the Basic Hard Cheese Kit. I am having great fun learning the process! I used all of the culture in my kit and needed more. I like that the culture is pre measured....a great help for a beginner! My cheese is aging now. Can't wait to share it with my friends.

These are really easy to use packets, no measuring and I usually make a 2 gallon batch, so it works great! I have mostly just made cheddar. I have not got to the point of making other hard cheeses yet, hopefully one day. It is a good price and they store in the freezer for a long time.

I use these for class demonstrations - easy to use and long lasting, haven't had any issues. I do feel like I'm overdosing most of the time, so I typically mete out the necessary amount using the mesophilic MA11 large pack when I need a mesophilic starter for making my own cheeses.

I originally bought this several years ago to help with fermenting kimchi, I think the recipe came from your website. Makes it ferment instead of mold. But lately I have been using it more to make cream cheese, just sprinkle a package over a pint of half and half in a flat plastic container. It sets up in less than 24 hours and is soooo good. Now we want to start cheddar. I buy over 12 5-packs at a time splitting order with my daughter to get a great price

This is my family's favorite culture so far. Our favorite use for this is actually making a cheese style yogurt with our raw goat's milk. We'll typically let it set for 12 hours, then drain for ~30-40 minutes to make a very thick skyr type yogurt. It is absolutely delicious and will make you never want storebought yogurt again!

Easy to use! When buying in bulk, this price is unbeatable. I use it to make cheddar, farmhouse cheese, and a good creamy cheddar spread when I don't press the moisture out. I love the quality and variety of the cheese I make with this product.

Great product.
