esiest way to make yogurt

These products you sell are the easiest I have ever seen to use, and the yogathurn is the best thing this side of heaven! I would recomend your products to anyone interested in going the natural route. I have made Mozzarella many times and my husband loves it. I have my own cows which I purchased just so I could try my own yogurt, I am unable to digest yogurt from the stores but I have no issues with this culture and my own milk. Also I will be attempting to try and make some of the other cheeses. Once again thanks for such wonderful products.

We've been using this culture for years and always have great results. The flavor is better than any commercially made "plain yogurt" I've had, even with store bought milk.

This is my go-to yogurt culture. The tangy is nice too, but I use that more for cooking: This is my day-to-day choice for breakfast yogurt.

I've made yogurt for years and this culture is really the best ever (aside from the Bulgarian yogurt, which is different in taste and consistency but truly spectacular and worth trying). The quality of the yogurt is fantastic, the taste is wonderful and unlike anything you'd buy at the store, and the texture is beautiful. It turns out perfectly every time and for the price, and simplicity of ordering, you simply cannot beat it. It is also wonderful when used in cooking and baking: an all around winner!

I'm using this with great results with my farm fresh goat's milk. Yummy. Not too tart. I can easily use the end result as a yogurt or a sour cream! Love!

Good sweet flavor, let it age in refrigerator a week and it'll develop more tang!

Great for Yogurt Cheese

Rating:

I like to use yogurt cheese with a poached peach desert. It holds up the the heat of the warm peach when served. Making yogurt cheese tends to concentrate the sharpness of the yogurt and the Y5 culture is great for this as it is less tangy to start with. I've also used it mixed with chives, bacon bits, and shredded cheddar cheese to stuff baked finger potatoes as a finger food at a party.

As a yogurt, it is great when mixed with honey, or fresh fruits.

Great results with Goat's milk!

I make yogurt in Jamaica with goat milk. The culture works every time. Yogurt made with goat milk yogurt is never as thick as with cow's milk, but I allow the yogurt to ferment for about 10 hours, then to the frig for 8 hours. It is creamy and acceptably thick. I also follow the directions and hold the temp @ 185F for about 20 min before cooling. Thank you for a great product!

My order came quickly and works great. I've made two batches, they were nicely thickened and taste great. I made the second batch using a bit of yogurt I saved from the first batch. It turned out just as good. I'm saving the other 4 packets as backup when my culture fails or the taste changes.

I have used this yogurt culture many times. I prefer eating a yogurt that doesn't taste "culture" and this culture is perfect for that type of yogurt since I like mine not so "sour." I also add vanilla extract and it tastes great.

I was very happy with the results of this culture. It is a high quality product with consistent results. The yogurt produces is very mild and sweet. A very nice yogurt for people who aren't keen on tart yogurts.

I was using store-bought yogurt as my culture until the day I received a free yogurt culture sample in with my cheese culture order from NEC. Works like a charm in my fresh goat's milk and I will never go back to store-bought yogurt! I recommend this culture plus a Greek yogurt strainer for fantastic goat milk yogurt.

My favorite yogurt, delicious and creamy. I add sugar, vanilla extract and either lemon or orange extract to the milk as well as the culture. Divide the inoculated milk into individual serving sizes in canning jam jars, put on the lids and pop them in the dehydrator to keep warm. It always turns out well! When I'm ready to eat some I toss some banana slices in, stir it up, and enjoy. YUM!

I love this yogurt.

I love the taste of this yogurt. Better than any store bought variety that I have tried. Also, seems to do wonders for stomach problems.

I have stopped taking Align and cut back on the amount of Nexium I take. I hope this will continue.

I love this yogurt culture for making sweet, thick yogurt. I also add 1/4 t flora danica per gallon of milk, which adds a buttery taste. I might even try this with lowfat milk. I always found the store brands were too tart. This is especially good as yogurt cheese. I spread on toast and put Rigoni di Asiago Org. fruit spread on top. YUM!
