My favorite yogurt, delicious and creamy. I add sugar, vanilla extract and either lemon or orange extract to the milk as well as the culture. Divide the inoculated milk into individual serving sizes in canning jam jars, put on the lids and pop them in the dehydrator to keep warm. It always turns out well! When I'm ready to eat some I toss some banana slices in, stir it up, and enjoy. YUM!

I love the taste of this yogurt. Better than any store bought variety that I have tried. Also, seems to do wonders for stomach problems.

I have stopped taking Align and cut back on the amount of Nexium I take. I hope this will continue.

If you don''t like *tart* yogurt, this is the best!

I love this yogurt culture for making sweet, thick yogurt. I also add 1/4 t flora danica per gallon of milk, which adds a buttery taste. I might even try this with lowfat milk. I always found the store brands were too tart. This is especially good as yogurt cheese. I spread on toast and put Rigoni di Asiago Org. fruit spread on top. YUM!

Look no further for the BEST yogurt in town!!

I've been making yogurt from these cultures for months now and it just keeps getting better. 5 packets should last a looooong time, since you can save a half cup of yogurt to inoculate the next batch.

I made yogurt for the first time the other with fresh milk from our own cows and this culture and honestly i must say it was the best I have ever had! It is so versatile, I used some to make homemade Ranch dressing for dinner and added strawberries and a drizzle of maple syrup to a cup and what a delicious breakfast that made!!!

I've been ordering this for several years now. I start with raw milk, heat to 110° - 120° F, then cool to between 80° and 90° . I add some dry milk powder, your sweet yogurt culture and incubate on an ancient yogurt "hot"plate my folks bought years ago. Six to eight hours later I have a deliciously sweet and creamy yogurt.

Thank You!!

I use 1 packet to culture about 5 qts of milk at a time. Heat the milk to 186°, then cool to 115°. I incubate under a styrofoam cooler. After the yogurt is coagulated, about 6-8 hours, I hang it in a square of muslin to drain out the extra whey. About 3 hours of draining makes nice thick yogurt.

I'm one of those that always have to have quite a bit of sugar added to store-bought yogurts...the tang always tastes sour to me. So I was delighted to try this sweet culture, which it is! No sourness, maybe a slight tang, but mostly fresh milk flavor which is great on its own, with no sugar added, or maybe just a drop of vanilla extract...on top of fresh fruit it is heavenly.

I've been using this to make batches of yogurt for a couple of years. I keep the packets in an air tight bin in my freezer. It has worked well for individual servings and 1 and 2 quart batches. I've used the results sweetened with maple syrup for breakfast, in smoothies, and drained as Greek-style dip. Easy and reliable.

I have tried many yogurt cultures over the years and this one is the favorite. It is very mild and has a nice creamy texture. I use an older model Cosmopolitan yogurt maker from Salton Inc. and get the perfect consistancy in approximately 24 hours. My husband and I drizzle honey on a bowl of this yogurt and eat up. It tastes wonderful! My 16 year old mixes a spoon of lemon curd in it. Would highly recommend this product.

I have tried many different cultures for making yogurt, including reculturing my own yogurt. While I like the idea of managing my own culture at home, the consistency I get from this sweet yogurt culture is amazing. It works perfectly every time and I love the taste and texture I get - not the case with cultures I have purchased other places or recultured from my own yogurt. Experimenting is awesome, but my family eats enough yogurt that I want it to come out right every time, with no fuss. This culture delivers perfectly!

Just follow the directions on the package and you will not fail to make delicious yogurt each and every time. Save a few tablespoons out of each batch and use it to culture your next batch. A 5-pack will last quite a long time!
