These come in very handy for when you buy the larger bags of culture but they are also indispensable for creating small batches out of the single packets when You don't have enough milk for a whole recipe. Love these.

These are very nice, heavy duty stainless steel measuring spoons. I think they''re cute with the titles of "pinch", "dash", etc, I just wish that they also had the actual measurement on them. I actually bought them for my daughters to make itty bitty recipes that fit in teeny tiny pans. However, now I feel like I need to put labels on each spoon so that the true measurement is on them.

Cute idea, though!

Threes are great for measuring very small amounts of culture used for small batches. I do wish they were marked in the tsp. amount instead of dash, pinch ...

So cute! I had bought the other set, but had to rely on the paper to figure out what a dash was etc...this set has the measurements on the spoon, so much better, since most of the recipe say 1/4, 1/32, etc.

These are those great little size you can't find elsewhere, especially in a retail store! 1/4 tsp, 1/8th tsp, 1/16th tsp and 1/32nd tsp- that's a smidgen!

I like the material. They are metal and heavy which makes them more handy. I bought it for cheesemaking, but it is very useful staff for bakery as well. Love them.

In my country, I have never seen the Mini Measuring Spoons.

Love them! It's an absolute necessity in cheese making. My regular spoon set just would not work. Who knew 2 drops is about 1/64 tsp.

I'm happy with them. Each spoon is labeled (1/4 tsp, 1/8 tsp, etc). My All Clad measuring spoons are heavier duty but then again they cost a lot more. These spoons seem accurate as well - I tested the 1/16 tsp - I filled it up four times and it filled my All Clad 1/4 tsp.

Perfect!

I purchased this product a few months ago and I have used these measuring spoons endlessly for a few batches of Camembert, and a Havarti-like cheese (room-temperature washed curd cheese). It is extremely helpful to have these. My only critique is that I wish the spoons also indicated what fraction of a teaspoon each spoon was, and to have it engraved on each. However, I will probably engrave them myself.

Properly marked measuring spoons

Pros:

Cons:

I bought these because they are stamped with a fractional measure rather than the word descriptions. A lot easier to use when you're trying to figure measurements.

Quick way to remember the measures

I love this set of measuring spoons. They're sturdy and will outlive me. I might even write them into my Will! LOL

I don't bother looking at the descriptions on the spoons or doing any engraving. Here's how I remember the measures:

The spoons stack up very nicely, and all you have to do is remember two things:

1. The biggest is a quarter-tsp.

2. Every measure halves from that point.

So, a quarter - an eighth - a sixteenth - a thirty-second Go through it a couple of times and it'll be hammered into your head. Hope this helps.

I chose these measuring spoons because they were stainless steel and had the fraction label rather than pinch, dash, etc. I am pleased with the quality of this set.

Be sure when you order measuring spoons that you get the ones that have the actual size stamped on them, not the ridiculous “smidgeon”, “pinch”, etc. Cheese recipes never use those silly words. I like the set with 1/64 tsp measure which is often called for.

Very useful.

I use this measuring spoon set when making just about any cheese but most especially when making yogurt and adding secondary cultures. Their only slight drawback is the fact that they are so deep and must be carefully cleaned. I highly recommend them.

Thank goodness for this purchase of mini measuring spoons! It's wonderful to have such accuracy at an affordable price. I strongly recommend these for those small measurements of cultures, geo, p. candidum, b. linens, etc. Save money by making sure you have precise additions to your cheese!
