What a wonderful way to dip your toe into the expansive pool of cheesemaking! This kit provides a great way for a novice to figure out their way into beginning the basic beginnings of at home cheese making.

Combined Kits

Rating:

Pros:
  • Home Cheese Making is a must
  • Purchase a std mold and other acc.
Cons:
  • Booklets are brief on detail
  • The mold is a little iffy.
  • Thermometers are difficult for precision

Combined kits are good. The information in the book is extreme valuable a must if you are starting out. I've made a mozzarella and traditional cheddar (now I have to wait for it to age....).

I was very excited to receive this and was very happy about the outcomes of my first attempts at cheesemaking.

Just like all cooking a few trial and errors should be expected, however, once dialed in, we are now making great cheese!

The book is even more helpful than the general directions included with the kits and I recommend this as a must!

One thing to notice is NOT to use a whole pack of starter when using raw milk as it has much of what 's needed already.

Great stuff, and will return for more!

Thanks again for a great product!

This is a great kit! It has a nice hardcover book as well as everything you need to make a huge variety of cheeses! (just make sure that you order some wax) I have given these to several people as gifts! It is a unique gift and provides a fun experience which leads to yummy cheese!

No cheese wax.

I was very disappointed when I received my kits. If you want to make aged cheese, you also need to order cheese wax. Wish I had known this at the time. I would have ordered it with the kits, and perhaps saved on time and shipping.
