These cheese molds are extremely sturdy and easy to use and easy to clean. I have neen using the small size for 9 years and is still like new condition. Recently bought the large size and am satisfied with the high quality mold as I expected. Highly recommend!

This is an economical price for a sturdy, very large mold. Easily holds curds from up 5-10 gallons of milk.

 • Washable mesh not available

Great mold for the price it works great with a drain cloth. I noticed a little warpage on the upper press ring after using for a hard press. If the mfg offered a plastic slip in washable mesh, it would be nice. It makes a beautiful cheese.

Thank you guys for your awesome website and recipes. My new Large Hard Cheese Mold is the perfect size for my 5 lb Bleu recipes. After enough time, experience and a few failures, my Stilton style bleu is as good as from England.

"Thank you!"

we have been using these cheese moulds in our creamery for 5 years and they perform well. The followers are a bit tight when cheese cloth is used- I had my husband use his router to take about a 1/4" off the sides. They worked great

I bought 8 of these last year for a friend who is setting up a small cheesemaking business in India. The order came quickly; the staff of cheesemaking.com gave us excellent free advice (long before the purchase), and the molds have held up well.

very bad cover

Pros:

The shape is good, but very bad cover does not withstand even the weight of 50 kg, very strongly bent. As a result of the cheese on the center hole. So, if you are going to press your good cheese, look for another cover.

The cheese mold works very well and is much better than the smaller basket mold. The size is perfect for a wheel of cheddar cheese!

I have had this mold for over six months and used dozens of times. I don't have a cheese press so I stack iron weight plates on top of the follower and the are just the right size to fit inside so I can stack heaver plates on top. I usually use this mold for cheddar so pressing weight is upwards of 200 lb. and it has held up very well. I use raw Jersey milk for my cheese and depending on the season 4 1/2-5 1/2 gallons of milk fill this mold. Overall I am very happy with this product and would recommend it to anyone who has a lot of milk to deal with or just wants to get into bigger cheeses.
