Although the other reviewers found them sturdy, they broke for me after one use. I don't know what we did differently. The other basket molds never break and don't cost that much more.

I didn't want to be bothered having many different molds. These were inexpensive, so I thought I would give them a try. I've used them for feta, caciotta, halloumi, tobiolla, chevre, as well as the ricotta they were originally designed for. Money well spent as they've held up well.

Used these to make a soft cheese called English Farmhouse Cheese, a fresh cheese designed to be eaten 2 days after it is made. I did not like these baskets. The holes were to large and the soft cheese curds seeped out. They have to be lined with cheese cloth before they can be used.

Have not had the chance to put these molds to use - yet. But they arrived in a timely fashion and are just what was advertised. I look forward to making a new cheese with my new molds. Thank you, Rikki, for all you do and share.

I'd recommend these molds if you want to do a big batch of cheese at once and don't want to spend a small fortune on higher-quality molds. I decided to try them and they worked really well. You can easily re-use them many times, they are a great inexpensive option.

I bought these 2 years ago for draining chevre. I have found them to be very sturdy. I wash them on the top rack of the dishwasher and I still have every one intact. During the summer months I make chevre 2or 3 times a week.
