    Mesophilic culture

I can't keep this stuff in my freezer! If you make as much goat cheese as I do, its best to buy in bulk. I'm switching to bulk so I don't keep running out of the individual packets.

    Quark

I use this culture to make a neutral quark from gallons of our farm-fresh milk. With the quark we make all kinds of things: savory sauces and spreads, lasagna, cheesecake, and everyone's favorite, chocolate quark, a very simple kind of mousse. Thank you!!

    Favorite of the family

This is my family's favorite culture so far. Our favorite use for this is actually making a cheese style yogurt with our raw goat's milk. We'll typically let it set for 12 hours, then drain for ~30-40 minutes to make a very thick skyr type yogurt. It is absolutely delicious and will make you never want storebought yogurt again!

    Make sure to have some

I usually use a cup of plain yogurt as a starter , but I keep this culture in my freezer just in case when I do not have yogurt.

    Easy to Use

I use these for class demonstrations - easy to use and long lasting, haven't had any issues. I do feel like I'm overdosing most of the time, so I typically mete out the necessary amount using the mesophilic MA11 large pack when I need a mesophilic starter for making my own cheeses.

I love this culture. I make cheese at least two times per week. I usually make cheddar and I get about 3 pounds of cheese out of 2 gallons of milk. I use this culture and 1.75 gallons of milk and .25 gallon of heavy whipping cream. I am having to upgrade my press because the press I got with the kit does not completely contain the cheese. Do not forget to make your ricotta cheese from your left over whey.

    Three Years Now

I have been using these Mesophilic Five Pack starter cultures for three years now. They work great and I haven't had any problems with them. They make recipes easy (1 packet - no fuss or muss measuring). Great item and I don't have to buy a whole lb of culture at once.

    Yummy Cream Cheese

We use this to make cream cheese. These packets make the process so much easier than having to measure the culture. We love the discount you get when buying in bulk - give us plenty of culture so that we never run out of cream cheese.

    Easy to use

I originally bought this several years ago to help with fermenting kimchi, I think the recipe came from your website. Makes it ferment instead of mold. But lately I have been using it more to make cream cheese, just sprinkle a package over a pint of half and half in a flat plastic container. It sets up in less than 24 hours and is soooo good. Now we want to start cheddar. I buy over 12 5-packs at a time splitting order with my daughter to get a great price
