Increasing acidity levels is an important part of cheese making and this kit takes away the guess work. It lets you know when to add rennet, and when to place the curd in the cheese mold.
The ability to test and monitor the acid levels of milk and the development of acid during the process will help with making more consistent batches of cheese.
This kit contains: 16cc color solution (phenolphthalein), 4oz sodium hydroxide, one 3cc plastic syringe, one 10cc plastic syringe, one plastic test cup and instructions.
Note: this kit will only measure the acid % (TA%). It will not measure pH.
