| Q. I would like to find the dried flowers of wild artichokes (or tablets) to make a Moroccan drink. Any thoughts?I do know the
tablets are sold in Spain and Portugal and are called "cardo." The flowers are known as Cardoon. Producers of Spanish Torta del Cesar and Portuguese Serpa use the tablets in place of the
flowers, Paula
If anyone has any information on the availability of Cardoon please get in touch with us and we will forward it to Paula, thank you.
A.You can order seeds from Swallowtail Garden Seeds (swallowtailgardenseeds.com) and some other seed companies that sell herbs, and try growing your own. Elaina
