    The only rennet I use

I have been using it for years in white, and hard cheese. Lasts in the freezer for years. Never failed.

    Rennet tablets

Very easy to use. My students make mozzarella using your recipe. We are always successful and they love making pizza with their fresh cheese.

I found this rennet much easier to use than liquid. Most recipes use a quarter tab and I keep the remainder in the freezer. It has lasted for years!

    Good to have on hand

The rennet tablets do the job of coagulating well, but dividing and dissolving the pills can become troublesome (especially if using small amounts). I prefer using a liquid rennet regularly, but I keep these on hand (in the freezer) as a backup.

    So far, so good!

I have recently started out making cheeses. This rennet has performed well using the recommended quantities.

    Works fine

Well, It's rennet. How much can be said? It always works fine. No problems. I like using the tablets rather than the liquid, but it doesn't really matter. If you're some sort of rennet addict, this is a good source.

    Tablet rennet

I've used both tablet and liquid for the 30 minute mozzarella and really prefer the liquid. Both are great products though, just prefer liquid. Tablets are easy to share with friends/neighbors.

Works great. But takes finesse to cut into 4ths....

It always works great, but sometimes it is hard to cut into quarters. A sharp knife, a steady hand, and a hard surface (holding your hand around it so it doesn't fly off) usually does the trick.

I have had consistent success with this. A friend gave me some that was 3 years old, and it works fine.

These are very easy to use and economical. Just wish they came in smaller size so I don't need to break into 1/4 size.

    Initially anxious but now happy

I read that rennet is extremely volatile, should be kept extra cold, etc. This leaf of 10 tablets made it all the way across the Pacific and is still viable. Whew! Very happy newbie cheese-maker here.

    For Fresh Cheese Only

This vegetable rennet is good for fresh cheese only. One shouldn't use it if the cheese is stored or aged more than a couple weeks. The cheese will turn bitter. Use animal rennet instead. (I had to send in another order.)

The tablets are easy to use and store, but one is severely limited on what cheeses one can make.

    Great Product!

Tablets are very easy to break and come in a small bag that takes very little space in the freezer. Incredibly happy as a beginner!
